The Spectator Judging platform offers a novel approach by allowing audiences to participate directly in the judging process, providing real-time scores and rankings during equestrian competitions.
<p Originally co-developed with SAP and introduced at CHIO Aachen in 2013, this innovation aimed to enhance viewer engagement in dressage and vaulting events. Over time, Spectator Judging has gained recognition as a valuable feature at various tournaments, culminating in its adoption across venues ranging from smaller events to the prestigious FEI World Cup Dressage Series.
<p In 2017, Black Horse One collaborated with SAP, a leading provider of enterprise application software, to develop the ‘Spectator Judging’ app. This partnership combined technological expertise with insights into fan engagement, resulting in a platform powered by SAP technology designed to enrich the spectator experience.

<li>Participants can select from several operational modes:
 <ul>
 <li>Full mode: detailed movement-by-movement scoring</li>
 <li>Short mode: condensed test sheet</li>
 <li>Quick mode: single final result</li>
 <li>Youth horses mode: three gait marks, plus submission and perspective scores</li>
 </ul>
</li>
<li>Users can compare their scores against the average of other spectators and official judges, contributing to a more engaging and dynamic competition atmosphere.</li>
<li>Event organizers may impose restrictions on available modes.</li>

Your data, including your scores and marks, are stored securely on our servers using an anonymized version of your primary email address. Personal data is not publicly disclosed. Additional information is available upon initial app launch.
